On the Saturday 20th of May the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra will be proud to welcome Miriam Nerval, former Island resident and rising star in the international music scene. Miriam will be performing not one, but two recorder concertos with the Orchestra – the Recorder Concerto in C Major by Vivaldi and Bedford’s Recorder Concerto.
In addition to the two concertos the Orchestra will be performing Marquez’s Danzón 2 (made famous by the Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela) and Shostakovich’s 10th Symphony.
Tickets are available now from Medina Theatre, both online and via the box-office (telephone 01983 823884). Online bookings incur a booking fee of £1 per ticket.
