A concert of passion and lyricism. Berlioz’s fiery Carnival Romain Overture opens the night followed by the delicate beauty of Finzi’s Nocturne. Spellbinding violinist Charlie Lovell-Jones makes a welcome return to the Island, showcasing the brilliance of Bruch’s beloved Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor, which leads us on to the majestic landscapes of Sibelius’s Symphony No. 1 in E Minor.
